TRC Withdraws Its Offer for Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - February 13, 2012) - TRC Capital Corporation (TRC) announced today that it has withdrawn its tender offer of US$19.25 per share in cash for up to 4,000,000 New York Registry Shares of Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V. ("Philips"). No shares of Philips have been deposited to the offer as of February 13, 2012.

TRC Capital Corporation is a private investment corporation that manages a diverse investment portfolio focusing on manufacturing, commodity, pharmaceutical and basic industries.
