KESKO CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 14.02.2012 AT 09.00 1(2) The Kesko Group's sales in January 2012, excluding VAT, totalled €720.3 million, showing an increase of 7.2%. In Kesko's food trade, sales in January were €311.4 million, an increase of 6.6% compared to the previous year. Sales to the K-food store chains were up by 5.4%. The sales of Pirkka products to K-food stores increased by 11.1%. The sales of Kespro Ltd grew by 14.7%. In the home and speciality goods trade, sales in January were €126.1 million, an increase of 1.6%. The sales of K-citymarket's home and speciality goods and the sales of Asko and Sotka increased. The sales of Anttila decreased. In the building and home improvement trade, sales in January were €180.7 million, an increase of 8.4%. Sales in Finland were up by 3.0%. Sales abroad increased by 13.0% in terms of euros, in Russia by 23.7%. In the car and machinery trade, sales in January were €115.3 million, an increase of 14.1%. VV-Auto's sales in January were €96.9 million, up 13.9%. Konekesko's sales in January were €18.6 million, showing a 15.2% year-on-year increase. Change, % indicates the change over the corresponding period of the previous year. In January 2012, the number of selling days in Kesko's wholesale in Finland was 21, which was one more than in the previous year. The number of retail selling days in January was 29, which was the same as in the previous year.
