Amsterdam, the Netherlands, February 20, 2012 - Ahold has repurchased 2,045,170 Ahold common shares in the period from February 13, 2012 up to and including February 17, 2012. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 10.7500 per share for a total consideration of € 21.99 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 1 billion share buyback program announced on March 3, 2011.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 96,415,302 common shares for a total consideration of € 891.85 million.
